Maintaining office and new conjugal life of popular TV actress, model and host Rafiath Rashid Mithila does not seen on the screen now. Basically she works in special days’ plays. On the occasion of coming Valentine’s Day, Mithila will be seen in a special play titled Priceless. Goutam Koiree has made the play. Jafrin Sadia wrote story of the play.
Mithila informed that to telecast on NTV on the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the play has been made. Irfan Sajjad and Iffat Rashid Missouri also acted in the play.
While talking about acting in the play Mithila told this correspondent, “Earlier I worked under Goutam Koiree’s direction. I have liked story of the play Priceless and my character was interesting. In the play, my character was presented in two phases – 30 years ago and later. I had to give full concentration to play the role properly. I had experience to work with Sajjad earlier. But there was a liking matter for me that my sister Missouri also acted in the play. Goutam Koiree is a talented director and I always enjoy to work under his direction. Overall, it has become a nice play as I believe.”
Mithila last acted in a web series under Tanim Nur’s direction on the occasion of Victory Day.
Recently Mithila recently got appreciation to work in Redwan Roni-directed short film Blood Rose. In 2008, she joined as researcher in Brac’s Education Research Department. Now she is Head of Early Child Development of Brac International.
