Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
Mithila is a celebrated model, actress, singer and anchor of Bangladesh. She has been working in the country’s cultural field for many days. She has been also
acting in Kolkata now. This time
in two Bengals, Bangladesh and Kolkata of India, Mithila is going to debut her career in the silver screen. Her acted two movies are set to release both in Bangladesh and Kolkata on same day. Mithila is neither in Bangladesh nor Kolkata so she cannot take part in the promotional activities of her movies now. For this reason, the actress feels bad now. But she requested her fans to go the cinema halls for watching her movies on the screen.
In Bangladesh, Mithila starrer and Anonno Mamun directed movie Amanush and in Kolkata, Souvik Kundu directed movie Aay Khuku Aay are going to release on June 17 (Friday). While talking about releasing her acted two movies on same day, Mithila told this correspondent over mobile phone on Thursday, “In movie Aay Khuku Aay, I played in a guest role. It is a small character. But I think though it was a small character which I played was a part of the movie. It is my acted movie. If viewers watch me for some moments and they enjoy this it will surely give me pleasure. I didn’t feel any fear or nervousness to share the screen with Kolkata’s noted film actor Prosenjit Chatterjee because he was known to me earlier. In fact, I really enjoyed acting with him on the screen in this movie. It was
really a great achievement for me to share screen with such a great actor like him. In movie Amanush,
I played in role of an urban girl who lives abroad and after coming country, she faces problem. It is a commercial movie. Nirab brought a different look in this movie and he acted outstandingly well. I hope audience will enjoy these two movies. I want viewers always remain with Bengali movies and they watch these regularly in the theatres. Now I am staying in Tanzania but remains with
these two movies.”
Mithila also said that now she has to stay in Kolkata most of the time. She cannot stay in Dhaka for maximum time. For this reason,
she cannot give time to acting in Dhaka’s dramas now. But she has no plan to quit acting in dramas.
In fact, to manage time for acting in dramas is really tough for the actress. “If it is movie, then I can manage long time to stay in Dhaka for acting. When an actor works in a movie, he/she will surely feel
fascination for working in the
silver screen. But I want to work in all types of platforms if there is good story, role and director,” Mithila also said.
