Popular actress Rafiath Rashid Mithila and singer-actor Partha Barua paired up after eight years for a new series titled Sukhi Atma. Mithila and Partha were last seen together in national award-winning director Redoan Rony’s drama titled Ayna Mohol.
The duo has starred in three projects together.
Written by Shafiqur Rahman Santanu, Sukhi Atma follows a private office employee Omio, played by musician Parha Barua, who often writes epitaphs for others. One day his boss gives him the task of penning an epitaph for his dying daughter Mithy, played by popular actress Mithila.
Shooting of Sukhi Atma began in the capital’s Uttara area recently. Directed by Alok Hasan, the drama will premiere on Deepto TV on the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
Member of the popular rock band Souls, Partha Barua enjoys acting in Television dramas now. He is next set to appear in Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s debut web series titled Ladies and Gentlemen.
