UNB, Bagerhat :
Divers recovered the body of a man, who went missing in the Bhairab River while bathing on Monday, from Kebighat in Sadar upazila here on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sohel Sheikh, 38, son of Abdul Mazid of Baghmara village in the area.
Masud Sardar, deputy assistant director of Bagerhat Fire Station, said Sohel went missing on Monday noon while bathing in the river in Old Bazar area.
Two units of Bagerhat and Khulna fire service launched a rescue operation Monday and found the body one and half kms off the spot today, he said.
