Police recovered the throat-slit body of a missing teen from Korbollatia in Fatikchhari upazila on Friday noon.
The deceased was identified as Sabbir Uddin Ikon, 17, son of Md Shahab Uddin of Bibirhat area.
Babul Akter, officer-in-charge of Fatikchhari Police Station, said Sabbir went to Bibirhat Bazar around 6pm on Thursday to get their television repaired but he did not return home. Failing to find him after searching all possible
places, his father lodged a general diary with Fatikchhari Police Station at night.
On Friday noon, locals spotted his throat-slit body at Korbollatia and informed police who later recovered it.
The body was sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
