Law enforcers on Saturday morning recovered the deformed body of a minor girl from a forest under Sadar Upazila of Gazipur , six days after she went missing on November 10.
The victim identified as Munia Akter,5, was the daughter of one Manjur Hossain, an inhabitant of Monipur village of the district.

Family source said that the girl went missing from the house on November 10. After the missing, victim’s
family filed a general diary with the police station on the same day.
Locals however found the detached body of the child in a local Gozari jungle in Monipur area on Saturday morning and informed police.
Police spotted the place and also found other parts of the body near the head and sent those to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital.
Jabedul Islam , Officer-in-Charge of Joydevpur Police Station confirmed the news to the media, police suspect that the girl might have been slaughtered by some unknown miscreants and was dumped into the forest.
The rotten body was severed by dog and fox, police however are investigating the matter, OC Jabedul said.
