A Eighteen-year-old girl was found dead in a pond , 24 hours after she had gone missing from kumargawn village in sadar upazila in Sylhet on Sunday.
Jalalabad Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shofikul islam said Aklima went missing around 4:00pm on Friday. The incident took place when none, including the victim’s parents, was in the house.
Local people found Aklima’s body in a pond At Mahmud Sha hill area Sunday morning, the OC said, adding that the body bore marks of injuries in throat.
