A female teacher of a primary school, who went missing on Friday last, was found dead at a bamboo cluster at West Rayer Kandi village in Zanjira upazila on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Rubina Akter, 34, daughter of Hasan Munshi of the village and a teacher of Mulna Government Primary School. Locals spotted the body of Rubina at the bamboo cluster at noon and informed police.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to local hospital morgue for autopsy, said Belayet Hossain, officer-in-charge of Zanjira Police Station. Victim’s brother Shamsul Haq Mridha said Rubina went out of their house on Friday for the upazila headquarters and but she did not return home.
He was Rubina was married off to an Italy expatriate over phone last year and she had been staying with her mother.
