Missing Faridpur Medical student found dead

Faridpur Medical College (FMC) fifth year student Nayan Chandra Nath, who went missing on Thursday, was found dead at Munshibazar in Faridpur town on Saturday.
The deceased was son of late Dilip Chandra Nath from Azimpur village under Dagonbhuiyan Upazila in Feni. He was appearing in his professional medical examination at the end of his fifth-year education course on Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at FMC.
Enayet Hossain, Inspector (Investigation) of Faridpur Kotwali Police Station, said they recovered the body from the area around 7:30am.Nayan’s classmates said that he had been missing since Thursday. He went out of the residential hall about an hour before the fourth examination and went missing since then.
Md Wakif Ul Alam, a friend of Nayan, said he was found mentally disturbed for the last few days after learning that he could not become a surgeon because of some complications in his fingers.
FMC Principal Prof Khabirul Islam said that they filed a general diary (GD) with police after learning that Nayan had gone missing.
