A female college student who believed to be strangled to death a day after she went missing from the Badarganj upazila in Rangpur district.
The body was found in a jute sack under a bridge in Mominpur village under Rangpur Sadar upazila on Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Rumaiya Akhter Rumi, 22, daughter of one Md Badruzzaman of Munshipara village in Badarganj. She was a first-year student of Political Science Department at Phulbari Government College in Dinajpur.

left home around 10:00am on Saturday, telling her parents that she had some work in Rangpur.
Police recovered her body around 9:30am, and sent it to Rangpur Medical College Hospital (RMCH) morgue for autopsy, said Md Sajedur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Rangpur Sadar Police Station.
The OC said, they believed that she was strangled to death on Saturday night, but we are yet find th We are investigating the incident, the police official said.
