A missing brick field labourer was found dead lying beside Chandra-Gazipur Road in Faridganj Upazila on Monday. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Abbas Miji, 45, a resident of Mijibari at Char Bosonto village in Faridganj Upazila.
Pedestrians spotted his body lying beside the road and his bi-cycle was also lying beside his body on Monday morning. On being informed, his family members rushed to the spot and recovered the body. Family sources said, Abbas went to work in the Brick Field at West Baluthuba area under Faridganj Upazila on Sunday morning but did not return home till late at night.
It was presumed by local doctors that Abbas died after he had experienced acute pain in his chest and then massive cardiac arrest on the way home on Sunday night. Feeling pain, he lay down beside the road along with his bi-cycle and expired some time at night on Sunday.
