Miss World Bangladesh 2019 Rafah Nanjeba Torsa could not take part in the special examination due to administrative complexity despite the permission of the authorities.
Torsha is a student of the Department of International Relations of Chittagong University in the 2017-18 academic year. It is learned that Torsa could not take part in the 2019 second year examination of the department as she was out of the country to take part in the Miss World pageant. Later, she got permission from the University Vice-Chancellor and Controller of Examinations to give special examinations. However, due to Covid-19, Torsa will not be permitted to participate in the test.
Meanwhile, with the approval of the special examination from the administration, Torsa was preparing for the third year examination to be held in November. In such a situation, the current chairman of the department, quoting the decision of the academy committee on September 29, told to Torsa that she would not be able to sit for the examination without the approval of the academic committee.
