Two popular faces of the small screen Mishu Sabbir and Nabila Islam earlier worked together for several times. For the first time they worked together under noted play director of present time Sardar Rokon in a drama titled Bharatia Vs Bariwala. Shooting of the drama was held in different locations in the capital’s Uttara area on July 23 and 24. Mishu acted in role of a tenant while Nabila played the role of his wife on contract. Meanwhile, Shikha Khan acted in role of the house owner. Shafiqur Rahman Shantunu wrote story of the play.
While talking about story of the play director Rokon said that Shikha Khan is a house owner but she does not give to-let to any bachelor. In this case, Mishu brings Nabila to show as his wife to the house owner. Then many interesting incidences take place.
While talking about acting in the drama Mishu told this correspondent, “For the first time I acted under Sardar Rokon’s direction. He works in organised way. I found that as a director what he wants to see among the actors. For this reason, he is doing well now. Nabila is acting well. She has a special quality of acting which impress the viewers.”
Nabila shared her feelings by this way, “Mishu Sabbir Bhai is a professional actor. His has separate viewers and fans. I really enjoy working with him. My first experience to work with Rokon Bhai was nice. As story of the drama is interesting we enjoyed a lot. I believe this drama will entertain the viewers in Eid.”
Director Rokon also informed that the play will be aired on Ekushey TV at 1:00pm on third day of Eid. Mishu also mentioned that he has already worked under Imraul Rafat, Omi, Yousuf, Topu Khan, Nobi, among others’ directed works on the occasion of upcoming Eid. On the other hand, Nabila Islam will work in two Eid serials including Sokal Ahmed’s seven-episode serial titled Leku Mia’r Everest Joy.
