The miscreants stole eight maunds of guavas from a farmer’s guava orchard and cut all the trees of the garden in Bhadra village of Chaugachha upazila of Jashore district on yesterday night.

The owner of the guava orchard Rezaul Karim planted 25 kathas of land of guava orchard in Bhadra village and it was cut down and destroyed last night.
Farmer Rezaul Karim said that in the Friday morning, about eight mounds guavas stolen and cut down about 50 guava trees and cool trees.
He said the trees were two years old and huge guavas will be produced after few months.
He has suffered a great loss. He said that he had no personal dispute with anyone.
He further said that a GD was lodged with the Chaugachha police station on Friday.
Chaugachha Police Station OC Rajib Khan said a complaint was lodged with the police station by farmer Rezaul Karim.
