Miscreants have threatened to kill Dhaka Reporters Unity’s (DRU) Organising Secretary (OS) and Daily Inqilab senior reporter Mainul Hasan Sohel.
On Friday night, a group of people face to face warned him at dire consequence.
At This, Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) expressed great anxiety at the matter.
In a statement, DRU President Mursalin Nomani and general secretary Mashiur Rahman Khan urged the law enforcers arrest the miscreants those who threatened Mainul and demanded exemplary punishment.
Mainul Hasan said, on Friday night he was going to his residence by rickshaw. When he reached in front of the Bangladesh ShilpAkala Academy, a group of rowdies intercepted his rickshaw and threatened to kill him.
Mainul also filed a General Dairy (GD) with Shagbag police station.
