UNB, Narayanganj :A listed ‘top-terrorist’ was slain by unidentified miscreants on Dhaka-Chittagong highway at Gohatta in Mograpara union parishad in Sonargaon upazila of the district on Wednesday evening.The deceased was identified as Arman, son of Monzur Kader of Meghna upazila of Comilla district, and an accused in 18 cases, including those for murder, robbery, abduction and extortion, filed with Sonargaon Police Station.Police and locals said the miscreants attacked Arman in front of Afia CNG Filling Station on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in the evening. They slashed the tendons of Arman’s hands and legs, and slit his throat as well, leaving him dead on the spot.Later, the miscreants left the scene hurriedly. On information, police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to the morgue of Narayanganj General Hospital for autopsy.Officer-in-charge of Sonargaon Police Station confirmed the incident.
