Miscreants allegedly grabbed freedom fighter Habibur Rahman’s land which is used as only way to go home in Boalmari Municipality.
“The local musclemen Rayhan Kazi, Babul Kazi, Shaikh Kazi and Zinnah with collaboration of their associates grabbed the lands of road which is the only way to in and out from both the freedom fighter Habibur Rahman and our homes,” said, Kamruzzaman, the neighbour of Habibur Rahman and co-owner of the land.
“They intentionally grabbed the road so that we leave the homes, because of there are no way to go homes without the road,” he said.
Kamruzzaman said he and his neighbor freedom fighter Habibur Rahman bought the land from Boalmari upazila freedom fighter commander Tokon Mian, to use it as road to go homes few years ago.
But those miscreants grabbed the road using their muscle power.
Kamruzzaman said that their homes is situated in ward-5, besides the Boalmari government college road.
Habibur Rahman and Kamruzzaman submitted a complaint to the municipality office recently.
