A manager of a mobile bank booth named Shetu Bonik (30) was hacked and seriously injured when he tried to resist the attempt of robbery money from the mobile banking booth of Dutch Bangla at Kishoreganj’s Batrish.
Almost at that time, Police also arrested an youth names Shaheen Miah (27) while he was fleeing the spot.
Victim Shetu Bonik was taken to Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital. He was later shifted to Square Hospital in the capital for better treatment.
Locals and victim’s family said that Shetu was stabbed in stomach and head when he prevented the the miscreants from robbing the banking both.
Officer-in charge( OC) in Kishoreganj Model Police Station Mohammad Dhaud confermed the incident, the accused Shaheen was arrested.
