The followers of Mirzakheel Darbar Sharif in Satkania observed the Eid- ul- Azha on Sunday together with Saudi Arabia, They will offer animal sacrifices like every year.
People from half a hundred villages in southern Chittagong will celebrate the holy Eid-ul-Azha on Sunday .
It is reported that Maulana Mokhlesur Rahman, a Sufi saint, introduced this rule 200 years ago. Since then, the Darbir muridas have been celebrating fasting and Celebrate Eid a day before Celebrate in Bangladesh.

According to Darbar sources, Mirzakheel of Satkania, Charti, Puranagarh, Maisamura, Gatiadenga, Madarsha, Kanchannagar, Chandraish, Harla, Bainjuri, Kanimadari, Satbariya, Barkal, Dohazari, Jamhir, Banjhur, Banjhur, Bunjhur, Banjar, Bunjhur, Banjhur, Dhangar , Lotiagara Putibila, Kalaujan, Barhatiya, Chunati, Patiya, Boalkhali, Hathazari, Sandwip, Rausan, Fatikchari and some areas of Lama, Alikadam, Naikyangchhari, Chakria, Cox’s Bazar, Teknaf, Maheshkhali, Kutubdia and several villages of Hinla Village will offer Eid-ul-Azha prayers and sacrifices animal on Sunday.
Mirzarkhil Darbar Sharif Steering Committee Secretary Bazlul Karim Chowdhury said the people of Mirzarkhil village will celebrate Eid-ul-Azha on Sunday in conjunction with Saudi Arabia.
The followers of the Darbar will offer Eid prayers and sacrifice in their respective areas sources added.
