Mirza Fakhrul urges govt to take challenge of a neutral polls

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhurl Islam Alamgir on Wednesday urged Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to take the challenge of holding a free and fare polls.
“I am requesting the prime minister, as a test case, to conduct a neutral national polls, in order that the voters take the right decision,” Mirza Fakhrul said in his party’s Araihajar upazila biennial conference in Narayangonj district.
BNP Secretary General asked also his party men to build public opinion against the regime whic used to despair the people whenever they approach the government for justice.
“Our leader is over thousand kilometers away and party chairperson is under house arrest. So, we need an united movement to rescue them from such situation,” Mirza Fakhrul said.
BNP Central Committee Assistant Organising Secretary Advocate Abdus Salam Azad was the main speaker of the programme, while Assistant Organising Secretary Benzir Ahmed Titu, central leader ATM Abdul Bari and district Acting President Monirul Islam Rabi, among others, spoke.
