A man, who suffered burn injuries in a fire incident at a plastic factory in the city’s Mirpur area on January 31, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Sunday, raising the death from the incident to 14.
Kamal Hossain,40, a security guard of the plastic factory, succumbed to his injuries in the intensive care unit of the hospital around 11:00am, said hospital sources.
At least 13 people were killed and three others injured in a devastating fire that raged through a plastic factory in the city’s Mirpur area on January 21.
The injured were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
