The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has included right-arm spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz and right-arm pacer Taskin Ahmed in the Bangladesh Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for the ensuing three-match T20I series against hosts West Indies.
Bangladesh will take on West Indies in the first T20I on July 2, the Tigers will face the Caribbeans in the second T20I on July 3, the tourists will meet the home side in the third T20I on July 7.
Pacer Shohidul Islam has been ruled out from the squad due to injury. Yasir Ali returned to Bangladesh from West Indies as he has been suffering from back pain. Besides, Mohammad Saifuddin was not included in the T20I squad due to injury.
Bangladesh T20I squad : Mahmudullah Riyad (Captain), Munim Shahriar, Litton Das, Anamul Haque Bijoy, Shakib Al Hasan, Afif Hossain, Mosaddek Hossain, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, Nasum Ahmed, Mahedi Hasan and Taskin Ahmed.
