Mirakkel famed popular comedian and actor Jamil Hossain has fallen ill and
has been admitted to the hospital.
He is undergoing treatment at the National Heart Foundation in the capital. He has reportedly suffered from a heart attack. The news of Jamil’s illness was confirmed by TV actress Urmila Srabanti Kar who is also a member of Actors’ Equity Bangladesh.
The actress prayed for her colleague’s quick recovery from illness. Sharing a small video message on Facebook, Urmila wrote, “The doctor confirms that Jamil bhai had a heart attack. But he’s a little better than before.”
In the video, Jamil also asked for prayers. He said, “I am fine, please pray for me.”
Jamil Hossain had been ill for the past few days. His condition deteriorated on Thursday. After that, was then rushed to the hospital.
Jamil Hossain is originally hailed from Noakhali. He participated in the sixth season of the most popular standup comedy show, Mirakkel, in Kolkata. There, his performances became very popular. Jamil eventually stepped into the world of acting.
