Coronavirus has caused a huge crisis of ventilators or oxygen machines which is extremely essentials for saving lives. In response to the call of humanity, Bangladeshi electronics manufacturing company Minster has taken initiative to create ventilators in the country.
The ICT ministry, FBCCI, some public-private hospitals, and some biomedical engineers from BUET is assisting to the company in the process of making ventilators. Minster Hi-Tech Park Electronics Limited’s experienced engineers along with research and development (R&D) team is in overall charge, said a press release.
In a recent online interview, State Minister for ICT Division Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak said, “With the help of the world-renowned medical device manufacturer, Medtronic, several local electronics manufacturers including Minster have come forward to produce ventilators. We are extremely optimistic that ventilators will be produced within the shortest time in our country.”
