A girl of 11 years of age was raped in Rampal .Police in a drive arrested the rapist Golam Hossain (55) after the very day of filing the case. He is the son of late Amin Uddin of Sikirdanga village of Perikhali Union under Rampal Upazilla.
It is learnt from Rampal Thana and the case filed that a girl went to collect cowdung from near the sand field of her house. Finding her alone, the lewd Golam raped her on 14th November and threatened her not to reveal the matter. But the girl told her mother.After that, her mother filed a case on 20th November at Rampal Thana.
Police arrested the rapist Golam from the same day and sent him to jail on Saturday.
