A seven-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a young man in city’s Jatrabari area on Saturday noon (January 7).
The baby girl was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for physical examination while Jatrabari thana police arrested the rapist Nazimuddin, 28.
Confirming the matter, Jatrabari thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Anisur Rahman said that the landlord’s son provoked her to go to his home on level five of the building while she was playing in front of the house around 12:00 pm.
