A four-year-old little girl , while playing and running from one side to other, suddenly fell down from the 1st floor ‘s roof of her house at Bishnudi Bank Colony -an outskirt of the district town on Sunday afternoon and died later at Chandpur General Hospital.
The deceased girl was identified as Mukta Begum ,4, daughter of Md Masud Hossain and Hasina Akiter. They told this correspondent , while playing on the roof, she fell down suddenly and was seriously injured on her head and other limbs of body. At once she was rushed to Chandpur General Hospital. She was referred to the Surgical department but at that time the surgical doctor was not available at the hospital at that time. So she succumbed to her injuries later.
Contacted, emergency medical officer Dr Nur-e Alam said, in fact, the baby had succumbed to her serious head injuries after she was given emergency treatment at the hospital.
