UNB, Dinajpur :
A minor girl died from food poisoning while her parents fell sick at Kadirapara village in Nawabganj upazila on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Sumaiya, 9, daughter of Soleman Ali of the village.
Locals said Soleman Ali, his wife Uli Begum and their daughter Sumaiya fell sick after having rice in the morning.
Later, they were taken to Nawabganj Upazila Health Complex from where they were shifted to M Abdur Rahim Medical College after their condition deteriorated.
Sumaiya died at the hospital later at night.
