Law enforcers rescued a minor boy from Hatikumrul-Bonpara Highway in Khalkula area in Tarash upazila on Monday night after two days of his abduction.
Monzur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Tarash Police Station, said that Moazzem Hossain, 27, son of one Akbar Ali, had been working at the house of Badhan, son of one Aslam, a class III student, at Ibidia village in Harirampur upazila of Manikganj district for three years.
Moazzem abducted Badhon on May 6 while he was returning from his school.
After tracking Moazzem’s mobile phone, a team of Detective Branch (DB) of police in Manikganj, with the help of Tarash Police Station, had conducted the drive in the area around 7:30pm and rescued Badhon, OC added.
