Saiful Sahikh, an 8 years old son of one Mujibor Rahmana Shaikh of village Ranjitpur under Sadar Upazila in Bagerhat district met his tragic end when his neck was strangled with the ropes of his hanging bed locally known as Dolna on Friday.
It is reported that on the day the ill-fated boy boarded his hanging bed and began to swing it. At that tine, some how, his neck was twisted with the ropes of the hanging bed and he was strangulated. Just when it was noticed by his parents he was rushed to a local physician who declared him dead.
