UNB,Jhenidah :
A minor boy allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree at Kazipara village in Shailkupa upazila on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Sayed Ahmed,6, a resident of the village.
Quoting locals, police said Sayed begged to eat rice with fish but at the time of eating he found that his mother had not arranged fish.
He had a tiff with his mother over the trifling matter and went out of the house.
Later, local people found his body hanging with a tree near his house in the evening.
Informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
A UD case was filed in this connection.
