Ministers of three nations visited the factory of country’s electronics giant Walton at Chandra of Gazipur district on Thursday, says a press release.
The three delegations- Dr. Khaled F. Al Otaibi, Deputy Planning and Development Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohamed Ashmalee, State Minister for Finance and Treasury of Maldives and Andojo Rusland, Minister for Transport, Communication and Tourism of Suriname, reached the factory at noon and stayed there for couple of hours.
S.M. Mahbubul A Khalid, Director, Walton Group, welcomed the three ministers and their entourage with floral wreaths.
Mohammad Sirajul Islam, Col (Retd.) S.M. Shahadat Alam, Uday Hakim, Alamgir Alam Sarker, Mohammad Yeusuf Ali and Enayet Ferdous were among other top officials present on the occasion.
The distinguished guests enjoyed a corporate documentary on Walton and visited Product Display Centre. They also visited Television Panel Assembly Line, SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Line, Television Production Unit, Foundry and Casting Project, Refrigerator Production Unit, Mould and Die Section and other production units of Home and Electrical Appliances.
