Minister’s new factory launched at Trishal

Minister Hi-Tech Park Electronics Limited inaugurated a new factory at Trishal to meet the ongoing demand of electronics products in the country and exploring export potentials. Commerce minister Tofail Ahmed opened the factory at a ceremony on the factory premises on Saturday, says a press release.
The program was presided over by Religious Affairs Minister Principal Motiur Rahman. Whip of the National Parliament Solaiman Haque Joarder, President of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Sports and Youth Zahid Ahsan Rasel, Gazipur Mayor Adv Mohammad Jahangir Alam, Premier Bank Chairman and former lawmaker Dr HBM Iqbal, deputy commissioner of Mymensingh Subhash Chandra Biswas, Managing Director of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited Mahabub Alam, Managing Director and CEO of Prime Bank Rahel Ahmed, Chairman of Minister-Myone M.A. Razzak Khan Raj and Managing Director Dilruba Tanu were present.
With the slogan ‘Amar ponno, amar desh; gorbo Bangladesh ‘, the company has built the factory on 200 bigha of land spending Tk 500 crore. The company will daily produce 10000 units of refrigerators and ACs. All sorts of manufacturing as well as assembling will be made at this factory. This factory will employ over 5000 manpower. In future, production capacity as well as employment scope will increase at this factory.
This new factory will create employment for over 5000 manpower. In future, besides raising production capacity, employment at this factory will also rise, company sources said.
