Mini Rugby starts today

The 5th Health First Mini Rugby Competition starts today at the Paltan Maidan. Bangladesh Rugby Federation (BRF) has arranged the two-day long rugby meet while Monowara Hospital Private Limited is the sponsor of the competition.
Marking the ensuing rugby competition, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangabandhu National Stadium on Thursday. General Secretary of Bangladesh Rugby Federation Mousum Ali disclosed all the matters related to the tournament. Chairman of the Tournament Committee Rashiduzzaman Serniabat, Manager of Monowara Hospital Limited Md Amir Hossain, Secretary of the Tournament Committee Md Sirajul Islam, Joint-Secretary of BRF Sayeed Ahmed, Member of the Federation Parvin Nasima Nahar Putul were present at the conference.
A total of nine teams splitting into three groups are taking part in the tournament. Rahmatullah Model School, Kamalapur School & College, Karatitola CMS Memorial School are in Group A, Saint Gregory’s High School, Maniknagar Model High School, Haidar Ali School & College are in Group B, Shaheed Nabi High School, Cambrian School, Madartek Abdul Aziz Higher Secondary School are in Group C.
The budget of the tournament has been estimated at Tk 2,20,000 while Monowara Hospital Private Limited has given Tk 1,50,000 to Bangladesh Rugby Federation and BRF will bear rest of the expenditure from its own fund.
