The Health First Mini Rugby Competition began at the Paltan Maidan on Thursday.
In the day’s inaugural match, Saint Grogory’s High School blanked European Standard School by 34 goals to nil.
In the day’s first match, Methidist English Medium School made a 10-10 draw with Sunnydale School.
In the day’s second match, SOS Shishu Palli defeated Shaheed Nabi High School by 5-0 goals.
In the day’s last match, Purbo Khilgaon Primary School thrashed Cambrian School & College by 12 goals to nil.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder inaugurated the rugby competition by releasing the balloons as the chief guest while Managing Director of Monwara Hospital Private Limited Mir Imam Hossain was with him as the special guest.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Rugby Federation Mousum Ali and Secretary of the Tournament Committee Syed Ahmed were present at the time.
