No wonder Nusrat Jahan and Nikhil Jain’s destination wedding in the picturesque town of Bodrum in Turkey became the talk of the town over the last two weeks. Tolly actress and newly elected MP Nusrat got hitched to Kolkata-based businessman Nikhil Jain on June 19.
It was a cosy family affair with friends and families of the bride and groom attending the wedding. However, Nusrat’s bestie Mimi Chakraborty was in Turkey accompanying Nusrat to Bodrum where she was part of all the grand ceremonies.
While the newly-wed couple has returned to Kolkata, Mimi took to her Twitter handle to wish her best friend a happy married life ahead.
Nusrat was set to marry in December, but had to prepone the date on the family’s insistence. The date and the venue were finally decided ahead of the Lok Sabha elections this year.
