Legendary music composer and director late Alauddin Ali composed one of his popular songs, Ei duniya ekhonto ar sei duniya nai, manush namer manush achhe duniya bojhai. Mimi Alauddin, wife of Alauddin Ali, has rendered the song in new music composition. Recording of the song was done on Tuesday night. Foad Nasser Babu has re-arranged music of the song.
Basically Alauddin Ali wrote and composed the song for telecasting on BTV. Forty years ago, noted Indian Ghazal singer Mitali Mukherjee lent her voice for the song. Later, many singers rendered this song in different times. Anupam Recording’s owner Anowar Hossain’s initiative the song was formally rendered by Mimi Alauddin under music arrangement. In 1982, viewers enjoyed this song in late Amzad Hossain’s movie Dui Paisar Alta. Rendering this play-back song Mitali Mukherjee got the National Film Award during that time. Mimi Alauddin has rendered that song again in new way. Mimi is delighted to lend the song in her voice. She said, “In fact, while rendering the song in new way I gave call to Mitalidi and took her help in this regard. Mitalidi taught me to deliver the lyrics regarding composition of tunes of this song properly. I gave my level best effort to render the song properly regarding Mitalidi’s instruction. If Alauddin Ali would alive today he will surely become glad because it was his favourite song. During recording Foad Nasser Babu was very emotional and at one stage, he cried because Babu Bhai worked with Alauddin Ali for many days. Tears of his eyes gave me pain. I am grateful to Anowar Bhai to give me the opportunity to render the song.”
Mimi also said that after making music video of the song, it will be released on YouTube channel of Anupam Recording during Eid-ul-Fitr. Meanwhile, on same day, Mimi also took part in recording of a Nazrul song titled Nai chinile amai tumi for Bangladesh Betar. This song will be broadcasting on Betar soon.
