Mimi Alauddin is wife of the country’s noted music composer late Alauddin Ali. Mimi has already established herself as a singer. During Corona pandemic, she tried to step forward and also took part in stage shows. This time she got a scope to render a song which has been composed on the uplift works of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Mimi lent her voice for the song titled Ashrayan Prokolpo.
ABM Mahbubur Rahman wrote lyrics of the song, while Rumon Hayat composed music of it. Recording of the song was done at Bangladesh Betar on Tuesday.
While talking about the song Mimi Alauddin said, “I really feel proud to get the opportunity to lend my voice for the song which focuses on the uplift works of the Prime Minister. I give thanks to them who gave me the scope to render the song. I also give thanks to my grandchildren Rumon Hayat for composing the song. In every step of my musical career, I always miss Alauddin Ali. If he alive today he will surely become glad about my seriousness in music.”
