Bidya Sinha Mim is the name of a bold actress. She is the popular actress who has already received the National Film Award. She started her journey in media through winning the crown of the ‘Lux-Channel i Superstar’ contest 15 years ago. In the silver screen, she acted with her debut movie Aamar Achhe
Jol directed by noted director, playright and filmmaker
Humayun Ahmed.
In the small screen, she first acted in Mahfuz Ahmed directed television drama titled Shesher Kobitar Porer Kobita where noted model-actor Adil Hossain Nobel acted opposite her. Arifin Shuvoo also acted in that drama.
Mim first got the National Film Award for acting in late filmmaker Khalid Mahmood Mithu directorial Jonakir Alo.
In her long 15 years career in acting, Mim acted in Aamar Praner Priya, Tarkata, Podmopatar Jol, Jonakir Alo, Sweetheart, Bhalobasa Emoni Hoy, Pashan, Sultan, Yeti Obhijaan, Black and many more movies.
Mim also got huge appreciation from the viewers to act in many television dramas and telefilms and also performed as a model in many TVCs. She lastly got huge appreciations and loves from all for acting in her last released movie Poran directed by Raihan Rafi. She recently attended the convocation of Southeast University where she completed honours and master’s degrees in Bangla Literature.
While talking about her successes in 15 years of her acting career, Mim said, “At first, I am grateful to God who gives me a beautiful life and successes in my life. Then I give thanks to my parents as they have built up and inspired me to come into this position. I am grateful to ‘Lux-Channel i’ platform. For this platform I am today’s Bidya Sinha Mim. I am also grateful to late director Khalid Mahmood Mithu Sir because acting in his directorial movie I got the National Film Award for the first time. I am showing my gratitude to producer of movie Aamar Praner Priya respected Taposhi Thakur because for her I could get the opportunity to debut my acting career in the commercial movies and also reached among the viewers at mass level. I am also grateful to directors and producers who gave me scopes to work in TVCs and TV dramas and telefilms. I am also showing my gratitude to journalists to come into my present position. In fact, I am showing key respects to all of them.”
Meanwhile, Bidya Sinha Mim is also working as ‘Goodwill Ambassador’ for UNICEF now. It is noted that Mim won the crown of ‘Lux-Channel i Superstar’ on September 6 in 2007.
