On the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8, Universal Medical College & Hospital organised a concert titled ‘Concert for Women’ at RAOWA Convention Centre in the capital’s Mohakhali area. Tahsan Khan, Apu and Bondona Chakraborty performed in the concert.
National Film Award popular actress Bidya Sinha Saha Mim received special honour for her contribution in film and TV arenas on the occasion of International Women’s Day. When Mim received the honour her father Birendra Nath Saha was also present. Four times National Film Award winner actor Ferdous Ahmed spoke on the occasion.
After receiving the honour Mim said, “Today is something special day for me as I got special honour for my contribution in film and TV arenas on the International Women’s Day. I have dedicated my honour to all the women.”
