Shahid Kazi, 28, worker of Afnan Jute Mills in Jashore and also son of Lokman Kazi of Hazrapur village under Magura sadar upazila, was hacked to death at a park in Jashore at around 2:30pm on Monday. The police arrested Mehedi Hasan Tophy,26 of Birampur village under Jashore sadar upazila in this connection, said Apurba Hasan, officer in-charge, Kotwali police station.
The OC said the man was hacked to death by some miscreants.
Shahin Hasan, colleague of the victim told that the victim was hacked to death by some miscreants at a park at Bahadurpur under Jashore as they came to the park at around 2:30pm on Monday. Shafiullah Sabuj, medical officer, Jashore General Hospital told that the man died due to excessive bleeding.
