Staff Reporter :
The militants are under 24-hour surveillance, says Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Director General Benazir Ahmed.
He said it while briefing the reporters about Eid-ul-Azha security arrangements in the city’s Karwan Bazar on Friday morning.
In response to a media query whether extremists in Bangladesh could become active over the Kashmir issue, the RAB chief said, the ultra militants in Bangladesh are being kept under 24-hour surveillance.
Stating that the Kashmir issue was India’s internal
matter, he said that it was unlikely that any quarter would try to create chaos over the issue here.
He added that stern measures would be taken against those who would try to create anarchy over an issue that was in no way related to Bangladesh.
In another query, the DG said that all government and non government institutes should care of the dengue issue.
