A mild earthquake jolted parts of northern Bangladesh on Saturday morning.
The tremor, measuring 4.6 magnitude on the Richter Scale, was felt around7:14am in the northern districts, according to Dhaka Met Office.
The epicenter of the earthquake was in Assam in India, some 272 kilometres north of Dhaka’s earthquake observatory, according to Met office. However, no casualty was reported.
