A mild earthquake shook capital Dhaka and other parts of the country on Tuesday. The tremor, measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale, was felt around 1:42 pm. However, there was no immediate
report of any damage or casualty, said Dhaka Met Office. The epicentre of the earthquake was near Meghalaya of India, 412 km northeast-east of Dhaka’s earthquake observatory, said Abdur Rahman, assistant meteorologist at Dhaka Met Office.
