Mild cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Moulvibazar, Rajshahi, Pabna, Panchagarh, Kurigram and Chuadanga, said Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Tuesday.
The mild cold wave may abate at some places, BMD said in a regular bulletin.
Weather may remain dry over the country for 24 hours commencing from 6pm on Tuesday. Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the river basins of the country during late night to morning, BMD said.
About the synoptic situation, Met office said that the ridge of sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining area.
Seasonal low lies over South Bay, it said.
Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The sun will rise at 6:35 am and sunsets at 5:51 in the capital on Wednesday.
