A three-day long Midas SME Products Fair-2019′ began here Thursday with the main thrust of promoting local SME products of women entrepreneurs, enhance production of quality SME products, exhibition and introduction of SME goods for expanding business, trade and commerce.
Micro Industries Development Assistance and Services (MIDAS) organized the fair in association with Canadian High Commission in Bangladesh at Green Plaza of Rajshahi City Corporation.
In the fair, a spectrum of locally produced SME goods including leather products, jute products, handicrafts, processed agricultural products, electrical and electronic goods, clothes, design and fashion wares and other products are being showcased in around 100 stalls.
Canadian High Commissioner Benoit Prefontaine and Councilor (Commercial) Corinne Petrisor and MIDAS Chairman Anjan Chowdhury were present at the inaugural ceremony.
