Ralph Haupter, President of Microsoft Asia and Corporate Vice President, Microsoft Corporation made a one-day visit to Bangladesh on 3 October. During the visit, Haupter met with several senior government and private sector officials, said a press release.
Haupter met with Finance Minister AMA Muhith and Bangladesh Bank Governor Fazle Kabir in succession, to discuss the development of the financial services industry (FSI), and progress of ICT in Bangladesh. Haupter also met with State Minister for Post and Telecommunications Division Tarana Halim, to discuss various aspects of the digital transformation in Bangladesh and how Microsoft can be a partner in the process. Later, Haupter met with the board members of City Bank to share ideas about the importance of digital transformation in the banking and financial services Industry.
