A microbus caught fire near the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport area on Monday morning.
No casualty was reported in the incident as the driver and the lone passenger immediately got down from the vehicle, said Md Waliullah, Warehouse Inspector, Kurmitola Station of Fire Service and Civil Defense (FSCD).
A microbus caught fire in its back side when it was heading towards the domestic terminal at
about 11:30am, the fire service official said.
Two units of the fire services rushed to the scene and doused the blaze, he said.
The fire might have broken out due to a technical glitch, he added.
