Under the auspices of Mostafa Hakim Welfare Foundation , iftar and sehri food commodities have been distributed among the poor and distressed in Baizid Shershah Chandranagar area ward in the city yesterday.
Former Mayor and Chairman of the group M Manzoor Alam handed over these commodites . In the distribution programme , Manzoor Alam said without any state power, every man can render his services for the welfare of the hapless people and Mostafa Hakim is an example of the service oriented social organization.
This group every year used to distribute Iftar and se hri items to the less fortunate people. Among others, Director of MH Group Nizamul Alam , Md. Faruk Azam, Saiful Alam, Shahidul Alam and local social elite Md. Khondakar were present on the occasion.
