Mobile financial service (MFS) has become a boon to people now living under home quarantine to remain safe from deadly coronavirus epidemicas this unique tool is helping them to buy foods, medicines, essentials andmeet their urgent financial needs from their homes.
A random survey conducted among city dwellers in different parts of Dhaka city shows increased number of women, older people and millennium consumers are now using bkash to buy foods, medicines and essentials from their homes.
The survey conducted by Bangladesh Journalists’ Foundation For Consumers And Investors (BJFCI) among 300 consumers living in capital Dhaka city shows that women, older consumers and youngsters are finding bkash as the best option to transact money and buy foods maintain social distance.
bKash, the country’s leading MFS player is recording nearly 5.8 million transactions every day and affluent people are also using bKash appas it helps them to transfer money instantly from their bank account, visa and mastercard to their bKash account at any time.
Millions of people across the country are in quarantine to remain safe from deadly coronavirus epidemic as the government shut down all offices on March 26 and asked people to stay at home as the virus is spreading too fast across the globe through person to person contact.
